(1)To master the basic
Chinese
I decided to learn Chinese as my
third language. There are three reasons for this decision. First, I think it is
important understand the language of the neighbor country. It is strange that
most junior high school children in Japan are duty to study only English, not
Chinese or Korean together. Of course,
learning English as a today’s world language since entering junior high school
itself is very reasonable. But we have to understand neighbor countries to get
along with. I think it’s also needed to understand the language of neighbor
countries. It is the first step to know each other.
Second, I wanted to know the
roots of Japanese. Japanese contains Kanji; Chinese character. I’ve learned
that the Kanji is derived from old Chinese language when I was in Junior high
school and high school, so I had been interested in learning Chinese.
Third,
the grammar of the Chinese is similar to that of English. Also the conjugation
is much simpler; it has any inflections. I think it is easy to master the
structure of the Chinese because I know the basic grammar of English.
(2)To read The Feynman
LECTURES OF PHYSICS, at least book 1…
Richard. C. Feynman is a
physicist who taught at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His lectures
was put into books. This is the LECTURES OF PHYSICS. His explanations on natural
phenomenon are very good for understanding because he has a unique way of
explaining what is happening in the physical world.
(3)To develop a
satellite
I mentioned about the ITF-project in the last blog. If a next opportunity of the piggy launch satellite
come, I will work for project. For more details of the ITF-project, please
refer to the website of the ITF-project in the page of The University of
Tsukuba.
(4)To get up early
Get up early and create valuable
time to study.
(5)To use stairs
In the station or in the campus
of the University of Tsukuba, I often use stairs. I feel less exercise recently
so I have to continue this custom to keep my leg in a good condition.
(6)To study math hard
I
wasn’t good at math when I was in high school. I now notice that it’s
meaningless to try to solve difficult applications without the filly
understanding of basic problems. So I have to study it hard doing a lot of
works.
(7)To master the basic commands of Linux
Linux
is an OS; Operating Soft. In the college of engineering system, taking the
lecture of IT is necessary to get some credits. In the lecture, I struggled to
catch up with because I didn’t know any of the commands of Linux. Commands are
used in many ways. For example “mkdir”; making directories or “GNUPLOT”; using
a program to draw graphs, and so on. I’m just a beginner now but I want to
master them and be a good engineer.
(8)Read books
I
often tend to refer to the Internet when I write my reports. I know it’s
important to search books which has wide information about the topic but it
takes so long time to search articles I want in books. In the point of time
efficiency, the Internet is much superior to books but I think it is not a wide
study. Wide, I mean, to know surrounding knowledge about the topic, make a
relation to them, and get the big picture of the topic. I think that the wide
knowledge will help me when I want to research something in the future.
(9)To know my friends
I’ve made friends with some
people in The University of Tsukuba. Recently I think that it is very
interesting to talk to them because they have done what I haven’t done. For
example, one of my friends said that he had made a line trace car with
programing an interesting function. I was impressed by his idea on that car. I
want to enjoy my school life with them.
(10)To finish all of my assignments before deadlines!
